Christmas Eve at the Brems' house

Grandpa Narrated the Nativity story while Grandma played the piano. This was a first because my Grandparents are always in Salt Lake for Christmas, but because Grandma broke her leg, she is not able to travel that far. It was wonderful to have them home!
Katie was the star of David
Isn't she a stunning 85 year old?!!

Christmas Eve

Can you believe we got my family to dress up? It has been YEARS since we did that!
Jane was Mary, but only wore the costume for seconds
The wise man, or was it the bell hop?
Joseph and Mary. It turned out to be a great Christmas Eve. We did a couple gift exchanges that are a tradition. We exchange names and head to Target with about $40. Then we go spend it on eachother, and open the gifts all on Christmas Eve. It is a great tradition. Thanks Mom and Dad.

Good shots of the girls

She loves looking back at the person that holds her. She gives them an adoring look that melts hearts.

One has straight hair and the other has curly, how does that work out???

Christmas morning

Jane got a fabulous Dollhouse from my parents. It is bigger than she is. It fits her Barbie's perfectly. One minute she is so girly and loves all things dress up, and then the next minute she takes one strong sweep of her arm and watches all her girly things tumble to the ground and grabs her new toy police car.
Grandma and Grandpa
Even Sadie got into it! She just turned 10 months. Man the time is going by so fast!

Rose Bowl Half Marathon and 5K

On Saturday we went to our race. Todd ran the half marathon and I did the 5K. We haven't had rain here since my disastrous triathlon, but then since we decided to race again... it rained. It was actually nice and refreshing. It didn't slow Todd down one bit. He finished his 13.1 miles in 1:29:11 . Doing the math that is a 6 min50 sec mile pace. Ridiculous!!! I did my 3.1 miles in 25:40. We had a great time. I have good memories of running at the Rose bowl. We lived there for 3 years before moving here.

Jane holding the metal...See her crazy hair that suits her so perfectly.

Our very good friend Cyrus joined us. We got to know his family when we lived in Pasadena.
Jane got tired of being there. So sad.

Sadie girl

Wrestling with her Papa. I think tickling and wrestling is her favorite thing, besides her bottles.
She has new teeth, which are the funniest things I have ever seen. There is a huge gap between them and they are coming in at an angle. I remember loving Jane's teeth too when they came in. I never imagined they would create so much character for them, but they do. It is just another thing that I adore about Sadie.

Oh, and she finally crawls now. She inch wormed for almost 2 months, we were thinking she would stick with it, but she figured it out. Now there is no stopping her.

Baby David

David and Natasha haven't updated their blog in a few weeks, so here are some 6 weeks pictures of him. Notice the cute chin! This picture looks just like David when he was a baby.

Profile shot, see his ears are perfect!
Now, every baby takes funny pictures, this one just proves he's David's kid.

Thanksgiving in Portland, Oregan

We took the family to Portland this year for Thanksgiving. We were so excited to get all the kids together to play. The flight out there went so much better than I could expect. I charged a portable DVD player for hours before the flight, but of course it didn't work. And on the way home I dropped all Sadie's formula as we were boarding. It was only a 2 hour flight. Robyn (Todd's sister) and her husband Chris just bought a BEAUTIFUL and huge house that we all fit in. Great food and company for all. We saw the sites, shared some laughs and sicknesses. That is what happens when you travel in the winter with children, right?
Downtown Portland

Tillamook Cheese factory. Jane had her first ice cream cone. Definitely not her first ice cream, just the first time I let her hold one on her own... not a good idea
