what is it with toilets?

This picture is from Thanksgiving, but I just got it downloaded. I learned that the more kids are around, the harder it is to keep them out of trouble. Jane cannot open doors on her own yet, so she has been pretty safe as long as all the doors are shut. When her cousin Michael was around they got the chance to explore since he is 2 1/2 and able to show her lots of new dangerous naughty stuff. This was the third time we found them in a bathroom together, but the first acually in the toilet. I got a huge laugh out of this though and she went straight to the bathtub.

The blog updating might slow down over the next couple months. I have been put on bedrest with this pregnancy for complete placenta previa. It is when the placenta implants all the way down at the bottom under the baby when it is supposed to be on top and out of the way. Since the placenta is the source of oxygen and nourishment, having it under the weight of the baby is dangerous. If the placenta were to tear or be damaged then I would have to go to the hospital and probably deliver the baby no matter how early. The baby is doing well though and she is none the wiser, I just have to be really careful and do almost nothing. Thankfully I have my family close to care for us. I can't even pick up Jane, so you can imagine how much I need their help. The doctor said we will do a C section at 36 weeks (mid February). I will do my best to keep up and inform everyone. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!!!!

Hi Laura, I hope you are doing okay! It's crazy that you are on bed rest now. We are all praying for you and the baby here. I'm so glad that your mom lives so close. I bet that makes the bed rest somewhat tolerable. So you'll have her at 36 weeks? I love the pictures of Jane in the toilet! How funny is that! That's what I have to look forward to with Logan i'm sure. Don't worry about the paint color. You're a little busy right now. We'll figure it out. As for me I have a neurology apt. tomorrow so we will see.

She looks like she's playing innocent after being caught red handed. Too funny. That's one for her future wedding montage. Sooooooo glad your family is around to help - stay down! This will pass.
