Todd's modeling experience

Todd would be super embarrassed that I published this picture of him, but I just was wondering what everybody thought. Should he continue to model?

It's out of control

Sometimes Jane's hair is so unruly and crazy I think I need to do something to fix it.

So I try this

I think she looks like Kate Hudson's son Ryder, weird!
She obviously wasn't happy about it until...
I had to bribe her with a brownie to get her to hold still long enough for me to get it straight. BUT, I love crazy Jane, so her hair suits her.

Sisters... you try to put up with them for as long as you can

Now you would think that is was Sadie bugging Jane, ruining her creations, taking mommies attention, but no. Sadie very patiently allows Jane to smother, wrestle, confine, etc. until a point.
This look says "mom, I am about to lose it, get Jane off me!"
And then Sadie cracks...which of course is reason enough for Jane to continue even further!
Don't worry Sadie

Disneyland on the perfect day

My little princess. Notice the absence of people! Rainy days are the way to go. Luckily it stopped before we got there and we didn't feel a drop.

Mom and I both bought season passes this year. It won't happen next year when I have to pay for Jane too, so enjoy girls (while you won't even remember).
Why is it that girls are obsessed with all things princess, Jane has dolls, bedding, toys, clothes, and more, but once they meet the live version of a princess they are scared to death? She wouldn't go near Cinderella or any others.

She didn't even warm up to Jasmine and Aladdin (whose toy versions she plays with every morning in the bath tub).

After getting her "pink candy" she probably thought life didn't get any better.
5 short minutes later she was out, with cotton candy stuck to her finger tips and face. Sadie did great too. Still a little young, but she went on everything Jane did.

Still, no luck

I am trying everything and it isn't even close to happening yet. I might give up for a little while. My mom keeps telling me not to worry, she won't go to Kindergarten in diapers, but that doesn't help!!!

The best vacation of all time

Click to play Ocean Breeze

This is an experiment on figuring out how to make a slide show. Just click on the play icon, it will take you to a new page, ignore the 2 second advertisement and then the slide show begins.

We just got back from a 10 day vacation in the British Virgin Islands. The entire family on my side was together, I think there are 18 of us. We stayed on the island called Virgin Gorda. We had to take a plane that was thinner and shorter than my minivan. I about died of fear. The view was so amazing though that I quickly forgot about the looming danger. We stayed at a private villa known as Aquamare. This place was luxury! We learned that Rihanna, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kelly Ripa were recent guests of this place (this weeks OK magazine has the picture, CRAZY). We rented a few scooters to cruise around the island, which was spectacular, except for the three injuries caused by crashing them (Katie, Dave M, and Emily). We swam, snorkeled, kayaked, explored, relaxed, and ate....doesn't get better than that. I took 950 pictures. I couldn't possibly only pick a few to put on the blog so I picked a large handful to put in a slide show. watch it if you want but be warned there are a lot of pics. They go by fast though. Everyone took fantastic pictures and I am hoping to get some of theirs to post in a day or so.

Christmas Eve at the Brems' house

Grandpa Narrated the Nativity story while Grandma played the piano. This was a first because my Grandparents are always in Salt Lake for Christmas, but because Grandma broke her leg, she is not able to travel that far. It was wonderful to have them home!
Katie was the star of David
Isn't she a stunning 85 year old?!!

Christmas Eve

Can you believe we got my family to dress up? It has been YEARS since we did that!
Jane was Mary, but only wore the costume for seconds
The wise man, or was it the bell hop?
Joseph and Mary. It turned out to be a great Christmas Eve. We did a couple gift exchanges that are a tradition. We exchange names and head to Target with about $40. Then we go spend it on eachother, and open the gifts all on Christmas Eve. It is a great tradition. Thanks Mom and Dad.

Good shots of the girls

She loves looking back at the person that holds her. She gives them an adoring look that melts hearts.

One has straight hair and the other has curly, how does that work out???
