Life without a camera

Just a quick update... I wish I had some pictures to post, but the camera is still broken. SO I thought I would update on what we have been doing. Last weekend Todd completed the Lake Arrowhead triathlon. We stayed there overnight in the lodge hotel. This was the first time we all slept in the same room as a family (and Todd's friend was in there with us because he did the triathlon too). I must say it went really well. We bought Jane one of those little couches that fold out into a bed. You buy them at ToysRus, but they are lightweight and portable. We all slept well considering. That is not the big news though, Todd is a big stud! I love watching these races he does, because he is usually right near the front and I can cheer for my spouse before anyone around me gets a chance to cheer for theirs. He did it in 1 hr and 8 minutes which crushed his time from last year. Here is the next piece of big news... He talked me into doing one. I do not know how he did that, but let's just say that the next few months of favors he's dishing out will make it worth it. My race is Oct 4th. If you never see another blog after that it will be because I have drowned. I don't swim because I don't like the chlorine in swimming pools to ruin my hair! The last time I swam laps was in 1998 in a mandatory college swim class. The time before that was in 10th grade. I was motivated after watching his race though, and I would like to get into that kind of shape, so wish me luck.

Good luck, it's hard work, but you'll LOVE the feeling of what you've accomplished when it's all done! And what a great example for your girls.
