A Walk Down Memory Lane...
I saw this on my on my friend Nikki's blog, and thought it was fun to reminisce a bit, here's a few instructions if you should feel inclined...1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

There are so many it will be hard to pick just one but I think my most fondest is when we come to visit- you always come over and hang out with us all day . I love to make fun of our moms for rehashing (I hope I spelled that right) the same old stories from their childhood every time they get together. I also have a memory of us laying on your water bed in Indiana and you were reading me this juicy letter some guy you were in love with wrote you. You and Emily were so boy crazy. I also have a memory of you and Emily taking me to some 90's grundge concert in Indiana. I was scared to death to be there but didn't dare to tell you guys. I told you I couldn't stop at one. Your the best Laura!!!
A couple of memories I have of you were of when I came to stay with you guys for a couple weeks when I was sixteen. Your parents were looking to buy you a car and you wanted a Ford Mustang. Something happened and you were arguing with your parents and they threatened that they were not going to buy you the mustang. But of course the next day you drove up in your brand new white Ford Mustang. Your parents are not very good at sticking to their threats are they? I also remember being jealous of how pretty you were (and still are), especially when you were in your swimsuit. My other memory of you is when Peyton was a year old and you gave fed him a bunch of mushrooms off of your food at the Cheescake Factory. For the next two weeks he had the worst diarrhea speckled with mushrooms. Now that you have kids I'll have to get you back for that one!!
Oh Laura Laura. I agree, that Halloween night was really fun, I must say...in a different sort of way. I also remember one of the first times hanging out with you, before we lived together, we went on a hike to Leed's Canyon and I think Kristen and Sarah were there too. I just remember thinking how pretty you were and you were eating Junior Mints, and I remember thinking how does she eat that and stay looking so good!???!!! I also loved our times in Pasadena...to sort of, rekindle, I guess you could say a lost friendship. It really was so fun to get to know you on that better level!!!!
Laura this is a cute idea. It was fun to read the posts about you. Now I’m going to have some fun! It is hard to name just one memory so here are a few… I remember our 5 hour long Barbie sessions and making casts with toilet paper, I remember our secret language so we could call Mom bad words, I remember throwing spitballs on the ceiling at night and the invisible line down the bed. I remember when you were 15 and I was 16 going on a road trip to visit some BOYS and I felt sick so I made you drive all the way home from Kentucky (What was Mom thinking?) I remember walking out of school the first few days in California because #1 we looked like total Indiana dorks and #2 we weren’t ready to go yet. Then I remember how much fun it was when we finally did decide to go in and I think that had something to do with BOYS again. I remember torturing you about the fake soccer invitation you mailed yourself so you could break curfew. (Always the quiet ones that are the most devious!) Most of all I remember always having a best friend and having fun (except for when you drilled off the lock on my closet door to steal yet another outfit without asking me)! I love ya sis!

I remember….your dynamic skills on the trampoline, and how you were never scared of ANYTHING! She’s right – the quiet ones are devious. I remember you were allowed to sunbathe on Sundays and when I tried to sneak a bathing suit over one time I got busted and wished my parents were as cool as yours. I remember your “heeby-jeeby” knees and Achilles tendons (Ellie squeezed mine the other day and I almost threw up – we totally have that in common – remember, “Seevers disease” - I told people I had it too). I remember the many many many guys (I won’t name them) we talked over and over about. I remember how you were the best long-distance buddy hands-down (except for a few weird years I was hard to get along with cuz I thought I knew it all). I remember the first time I came to your house and drew a sperm and asked me what I thought it looked like – I was horrified!!!! But I thought you were so cool it didn’t matter. I remember always thinking you and Jared Teeter would make a cute couple but you were never interested – you ended up with a total hottie, good thinking. I remember you laughing at a lot of the stupid things I did and said and thought about – I’m glad you did cuz you were right. I remember giving you a rose on Valentine’s Day one time cuz I didn’t even know what lesbianism was and thought it was just a nice thing to do – I remember Emily laughing hysterically at that too. I remember always flirting with your brothers and how you put up with it even though it was annoying. I remember visiting you in CA and how protective you were at what I saw and heard….and how you made me go out with Rob. No offense, nice guy. I remember visiting you in Cedar City and having the best time. I remember you coming to my wedding and being so glad you were there. I remember you at your wedding – never did anyone look more beautiful and being so glad to be there (and wondering why on earth I wore a white dress that day – things were a little crazy in my life at that time). I remember a friend who was always there for me, who was patient, kind, a great listener and the best friend I could ever ask for. Love you girl!
