I've been tagged...

What I was doing ten years ago-
1998, awhh... good ol' cedar city. I was in my second year of college in a small town in Southern Utah. I had just gotten my new car, a white Ford Mustang. (which I didn't sell until after I was married because Todd didn't fit in it very well). I lived with my cousin Lisa. The first two years of college I didn't do much, but the Spring of that year was different. I finally met some new people that I really looked forward to spending time with, and was loving being at SUU. So I ditched the plan of transferring to UCLA or CalPoly and I embraced my time in that small Utah town. I also thought I was going to be a physical therapist.

What I was doing five years ago-
2003- A newlywed in Temecula, Ca...I was happy to be back in California. I was waiting to hear from Dental Hygiene schools to see where we would be for the next few years (turned out to be Pasadena). I was working for a fun and wild female dentist who kept work very interesting. Do you have any idea how many ants there are in Temecula?

What I was doing one year ago-
We had been living in Moorpark for just a few months. Jane was starting to get past the "baby" stage, so we were happy to find out we were pregnant. If you are wondering how come this baby has a one year gestation, she doesn't. We suffered a couple of miscarriages. Though much happier news would be awaiting us a few months down the road. I was working maybe 1 or 2 days a week.

What I was doing yesterday-
This is actually pretty funny. Todd and I have a very small backyard. When we first moved in 1/3 of it was a concrete patio area and the rest was towering, overpowering, obnoxious plants (many with thorns on them). Jane never could go back there and play so I have had my heart set on putting grass where all those plants are. We finally started a few weeks ago. Don't worry I haven't done any of it, I am just a spectator. All the men in the family have been working hard, including Grandpa. Last week we hauled in a few yards of dirt/compost. Well Yesterday was the day to work on the sprinkler system. Apparently there was a leak that needed to be fixed. My dad had a plan, but somehow they ended up flooding the backyard. The only way to stop the water was turn off the source of the water at the public fire hydrant. After hours of work I think we are still where we started before the day began. My dad said "sometimed it takes 1 step backward before you can take 2 steps forward". I better tell you how grateful I am for all the hard work my family puts into our home improvements. Since everything else turns out wonderful I know this will too. I should post a picure of the swamp in my backyard!

I enjoy-
Cuddling! It is probably my favorite thing. Todd is an excellent writer, so I live for his little stories and love notes (rare as they may be). A bath and a good book. Eating out and having a really really good meal. An evening jog. Todd doing dishes. When my US weekly magazine comes in the mail. I LOVE finding Janes tiny little socks around the house.

Five TV shows I love-
#1 is the Bachelor. Lost, 24, the Hills (embarrasing), and I watch a lot of Fox news since the election process has started.

Five things I hate-
I hate it when someone tries to touch my knees. It sounds weird but it gives me the heebie jeebie's. I can't explain it but i hate it. I hate parsley in my food. I hate when a patient eats an onion burrito before getting their teeth cleaned. I hate when someone near me eats nacho's or a hot dog in a movie theater. While I am pregnant at least, I HATE Guitar Hero

5 biggest joys in my life-
Todd, my kids, The Church, my family, my health.

I tag- Emily, Andrea, Lisa, Nikki, and Sarah

Yay Laura! I am so glad you did it! You are the only one to respond to my post. You are so cute- I will have to rub your knees the next time I see you...that made me laugh. Not even Todd huh? :) How are you feeling these days? I am glad that your pregnancy is moving along. I am so happy for you and Todd. Please keep me posted. And I would love to see a pic of your backyard, especially when it is done. If G and G Brems are involved, its bound to be good! We missed you at the 65th anniversary party. Hopefully we will see you this spring, maybe for a Disneyland trip. Emily said she would try to come too. Love ya!

I love hearing all this - Do you still hate people squeezing your achilles tendons too? I'm so excited for your new baby! It's been a roller coaster of a wait. I'll make sure to leave out the parsley next time :-)
