Merry Christmas

I think most everyone knows this about us, but we are really bad at sending out Christmas cards. Todd has agreed to do it next year. So I apologize, but this blog page is a pretty good way of keeping friends and family updated, so count this as our season's greetings. This Christmas, I think Jane sort of recognized the santa/gift opening aspect. I am already excited for next year because it will be that much more fun. I believe Jane is developing her artistic talent early, she has been holding her markers, crayons, and pencils correctly and she usually colors an object instead of just random scribbles. It is one of her favorite things to do and of course being her mom I want to encourage this so we got her a lot of coloring related presents this year. Todd got me my first ipod, so now I am learning about that and am anxious to be able to exercise with it in about say oh, 3 or 4 months = ). My parents got us some essentials including all new oil painting supplies for me (now I can paint again!). I have been taking things very easy. The doctor said maybe a good day to schedule a C section would be the 29th of February. Well, since pregnancy causes stupidity and slow reaction times, I didn't think anything of it until they pointed out that it was leap year. Would that be weird to have a baby that day? I'll go for it if that means the hospital is less busy.

I'm so happy that you guys had a good Christmas. How fun that Jane knew what was going on. Logan got a lot of presents, but he mainly slept through the opening of them. Next year will be more fun for him. I had some serious compassion for you the other day. I had to get a spinal tap and so I had to lie down for 24 hours. I kept thinking of you on bed rest.

Ok, this counts, but next year we expect something with postage on it :-)

My sis in law's bday is Feb 29th. I think she likes it. She celebrates on the 28th on the non leap years. Technically she's only like 6 or 7 years old.
